A destination of aspirations, The Pearl-Qatar will take you to a lifestyle of incredible qualities. Fine homes on an island paradise - shops and restaurants featuring the world's best known brands, a water-side haven of marine activity - all this and more combine to create an environment which is second to none in the Arabian Gulf.

The Pearl Qatar is a phased mixed-use development comprising 10 distinct, themed districts that include beachfront villas, elegant town homes, luxury apartments, exclusive penthouses, five-star hotels, marinas, and upscale retail and restaurants all situated on a multibillion dollar (USD) man-made island encompassing 985 acres (400 hectares) of reclaimed land just off the shore of the Arabian Peninsula in the state of Qatar. It is Qatar’s first international luxury residential development that offers international investors freehold title ownership. The Pearl-Qatar is a destination in its own right - a lavish, secure and exclusive island retreat with a Riviera-style community.

Both the island's name and location, on the site of a former pearl diving site, reflect the country's strong cultural ties with the sea. This is an island rediscovered. The name pays homage to the previous mainstay of the economy - pearl fishing. Although pearling is no longer a key economic driver, it has left a legacy of skills, stories, music, art and poetry that is a source of identity and pride for Qatari's today.

The center can also be booked for business conventions, weddings and there are many musical and cultural events which are hosted throughout the month and can be viewed on the QNCC events calendar.

QNCC was conceived with a focus on sustainability. The Centre was built according to Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) gold-certification standards, and is endorsed by the US Green Building Council. The building is designed to operate efficiently with innovations such as water conservation and energy-efficient fixtures, and it is approximately 32 percent more efficient compared with a similarly designed building that lacks such innovations. One of the features is the 3,500sq m of solar panels providing 12.5 percent of the Centre's energy needs. The exhibition halls have extremely energy-efficient LED lighting. Many other integrative design elements are being adapted to achieve the highest level of environmental and sustainable standards.
